The Royal Oak

The Royal Oak

An oak sapling grown from acorns collected from The Royal Oak at Boscobel House.

This Royal Oak is a direct descendent of the neighbouring tree which King Charles II hid in after losing the battle of Worcester in 1651.

After the restoration of the crown, The Royal Oak became a tourist attraction and is now the name of over 400 pubs in the UK! Cheers!
