  • The first batch of saplings will be delivered in 2027.

We are a start-up and the saplings need at least a year or two to grow so they can survive delivery, look great and have the best chance of survival when planted out.

  • Trust.

You can't just go and take seeds from any tree, and often they're on private land.

We have formed partnerships with the landowners of each tree, be it a farmer or large estate. This grants us exclusive permission to harvest and grow the seeds, and in return the landowner receives a proportion of the revenue.

Our founder personally collects the majority of the seeds and will often timelapse the harvest.

  • Unfortunately not at the moment, but we have every intention of doing so.

Saplings don't travel well, except when dormant, but there's also a multitude of environmental and customs regulations involved.

There are famous trees around the world so we want to import/export seeds to the various countries to then grow and ship domestically.

  • In short, no!

Environmental and human intervention factors play a significant role in how your tree will grow, but there's no reason you can't get a similar size and shaped tree, albeit in a few decades time!

  • The majority of our saplings are grown from seed, most of which will be pollinated by another tree, so in general it's best to consider them as "the offspring of".

Some species like willow however will be grown from cuttings, in which case they are a clone of the parent tree.

  • Typically the saplings will 1-2 years old when you receive them. This varies from specie to specie.

We are also holding back some stock to keep growing on, but every tree sold will include the date it started growing,. This means in generations to come there won't need to be any guesswork in aging the tree!

  • Don't worry!

The saplings will need to live outside, but they can keep growing for up to 10 years in large pots with extra care. This is a great option if you know you're moving house for example, or don't know a final planting spot yet.

You can also bonsai your sapling, to keep it small forever!

  • Don't worry! It's really not rocket science. We provide all the information for your specific tree to ensure it has the best chance to thrive.

At the end of the day, water and sunshine is all they need - think how trees grow naturally in nature.

  • Not currently.

It's an option we have considered, and whilst shipping is far easier, the success rate of some seeds can be 1-in-a-1000, so we'd rather take the care to germinate as many as possible and ensure we're not letting down customers.

  • Please get in touch!

We have hundreds of trees saved on our list, but there's always ones we miss, and there's a finders reward for anyone who recommends one we haven't heard!
